Student Wellness

All members of the school community take personal responsibility for health and balance in their lives supported by a school culture that promotes spiritual, intellectual, physical and social-emotional well-being.Goal 5, Criterion 2
Beyond offering developmentally appropriate health education and competitive athletics, Sacred Heart's commitment to wellness extends far beyond the classroom and the playing fields.

Our On-Campus Support Team

To ensure every student has the resources they need, three key supports are always available:

School Nurse

Our on-campus nurse provides daily care and support for students and staff. From administering medication and offering first aid to coordinating health screenings and sharing safety guidelines, the nurse helps every member of the community stay healthy and informed.

Counselors

Licensed counselors, including a school psychologist, guide students in building emotional resilience and life skills. They offer individual support, lead wellness programs, and partner with families and teachers to promote balanced growth—spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social-emotional.

Athletic Trainer

Our on-campus athletic trainer supports student-athletes through injury prevention, immediate care, and rehabilitation. Working closely with coaches and health staff, the trainer promotes safe training practices, educates on wellness topics, and helps students return to play safely and confidently.

Together with these supports, Sacred Heart also promotes wellness through physical activity and community connection. Within the Field House, students enjoy dedicated spaces for aerobics, dance, and cardiovascular fitness, while a community café provides a welcoming place to gather and build social skills. In addition, Faith, our beloved therapy dog, brings comfort and joy, reminding everyone that care, balance, and connection are at the heart of our community.
