This course focuses on the issues that create the historic and current cultures and societies of the regions that we will be studying, with the focus on global understanding. Humanities is taught as parallel courses in the English and Social Science Department. We will investigate the regions and cultures through economics, historic dynamics, environment, movement, civil and human rights, philosophy and religion, development.

Students will learn to apply the concepts of location, environment and economics with respect to social sciences. Then the theories of each will be applied to the regions of the world.
