Algebra is the first course of the upper school mathematics cirriculum. This course is a study of Algebra including solving linear and quadratic equations, graphing, factoring, and systems of equations. It also integrates topics from geometry, probability, and statistics. A variety of activities such as modeling, group work, projects, real-life applications, and open-ended problem solving are used to address different learning styles.

The class will meet throughout the 2016-17 school year on Tuesdays, Fridays and alternating Thursdays.
