Stop in for Summer Welcome on July 19

On Wednesday, July 19, new and returning families are invited to a Summer Welcome at ASH! Learning Community Leaders and the Head of School, along with the Director of Technology and the Admissions Director, welcome parents to stop by and ask questions, pick up your summer packet and shop the PAASH Used Uniform Sale between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

There's Still Time - Register for Summer at Sacred Heart!

Summer at Sacred Heart 2017 is underway, offering 11 weeks of summer fun for children, age 4 - Grade 6! In addition to themed day camps, you can choose from academic tutoring, private music instruction, an overnight, sports camps and extended care. There is a buzz throughout our Network of Sacred Heart Schools as we celebrate the feast of our foundress, St. Madeleine Sophie Barat, on her Feast Day, May 25. Regional Repeat!

The varsity tennis team repeated as regional champions on May 18 - the school's eighth consecutive regional title! The team will travel to Holly on Friday and Saturday, June 2 and 3 for the state tournament. The Gazelles hope to defend their back-to-back state championships. Congratulations and good luck!

 

 

Bid on a Piece of Sacred Heart History!

Through the generosity of the Athletic Booster Club, new banners highlighting Sacred Heart's varsity championships throughout the years now adorn the Field House. As a result, you have the opportunity to participate in an auction of the banners that previously hung in this space. Electronic Scrap Collection - May 8-12

Help keep electronic scrap out of landfills! From May 8-12, ASH will be collecting electronic waste in designated boxes inside the maintenance and adminstrative entrances. Any device capable of holding data will have that information destroyed for your protection. No TV or CRT (box-style) monitors accepted. Please take advantage of this free service and help protect the environment!

 

 

Fujitsu Design Team Visits ASH

ASH was one of only eight North American schools selected for a visit from Fujitsu. The guests met with students and faculty to learn more about how ASH uses technology tools with the goal of improving Fujitsu's PC designs for 2019. Read more about this visit in the eNews.

 

 

ASH Recognized for 10 Years as a Michigan Green School

On April 26, ASH was recognized as one of only 14 schools that have achieved Michigan Green School designation continuously since the program began ten years ago. ASH has also achieved "Evergreen" status in every year it has been offered. Learn more about our Green School Designation here.

 

 

2017 Valedictorian, Salutatorian Named

NHS Students Fundraise at Bruegger's Bagels on April 23

Join National Honor Society students at Bruegger's Bagels, 39568 N. Woodward, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 23 in support of U of D Jesuit High School student Sean English. As Bruegger's Bagels prepares to officially re-open, students will be on hand during staff training sessions, collecting a minimum $5 donation in return for a breakfast or lunch menu item and small specialty beverage. All donations collected by Sacred Heart's NHS students will benefit the Sean English GoFundMe campaign.
