Upper School
At Academy of the Sacred Heart, girls occupy every role. Our Upper School is for girls only, and these students take on a myriad of leadership responsibilities every day: in the classroom, on the stage, on the athletic field, and in STEAM programs. Sacred Heart girls govern their clubs and serve the greater community, making the world a better place.
We teach girls that there is enormous potential and power in being a girl. We work hard. We have fun. And we are creating a new generation of role models for girls, by girls.
The Sacred Heart Upper School is a college-preparatory, classics and liberal arts-focused academy for girls in Grades 9 through 12. This unique educational experience offers personalized mentor relationships, as well as exciting experiential programs such as Project Term, Network Exchange, Weekly Service, and more.
Sacred Heart students learn to question, to speak out and to take risks. Their intellectual curiosity is cultivated through the development of a discerning mind and inquisitive spirit.
Our Upper School students are encouraged to approach life full of faith and with an active concern for those around them. Each of our graduates is prepared not just to succeed in academics, but to take a place of leadership in a diverse and increasingly complex world.
