Primary School

The Primary School offers a developmental approach to learning for girls and boys in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 1. In the Primary School, teachers nurture the child’s natural curiosity while also reinforcing the joy of discovery. Students meet daily in homebase groups for planning, sharing, skills work and problem-solving before venturing out to various learning centers to create, compose and construct. World language classes start at this age. Music, art and physical education provide daily opportunities for creative expression to complement the academic curriculum. With an abundance of individual attention, these young students are gaining mastery of academic areas and developing social skills and positive learning habits while progressing at their own pace and in their own style.
