Primary School

The Primary School offers a dynamic early childhood educational experience for girls and boys in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 1. In the Primary School, teachers nurture each child’s curiosity while providing opportunities for discovery, critical foundational learning, and social-emotional development. Students meet daily in optimally-sized homebase groups for community building and grade-level instruction before venturing out to various multi-age learning centers to create, hypothesize, collaborate, and learn experientially. Immersive French language and culture classes start at this age. Music, art, STEM, physical education, and creative writing complement the academic curriculum.

In the Primary School, we put students at the heart of all we do. With an abundance of individual attention, teachers meet children “where they are” and take them as far as they can go. This personalized Sacred Heart approach is the key to building academic confidence and resilience while fostering a life-long love of learning.
