The Middle School for Girls theatre arts class performed the play, An Invitation to Tea, on Wednesday, May 28 as a culmination of their theatre studies. The girls chose the show because the subject matter, the Boston Tea Party, related to current studies in social studies class. Each student had either a role in the production or was part of the crew. The group was comprised of seventh and eighth grade girls who have an interest in the workings of producing a play. Starting the class in January, the students learned the areas of the stage, how to block a play and performed monologues.
