Young Americans - Host Families
As you know, the Young Americans are coming to our school from March 4 - 8.  There are approximately 40 Young Americans plus one artistic director and we ask that you consider opening your home for two or more members of the touring group.  This is not a requirement, but your help would be very much appreciated!  Staying in the homes of families associated with the workshop is really one of the most rewarding aspects for the workshop participants and their families. (Because of their early call time, we ask that you live not further than 25 minutes from school)

As a thank you, The Young Americans would like to offer each family two free tickets to one of the shows in the preferred seating section. The Young Americans will bring your tickets home to you on the second day of the workshop. Host families are on a first-come first serve basis. If selected, you will be notified and sent additional information about hosting The Young Americans.

Important things to keep in mind: The Young Americans will arrive at the Academy around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4 and will need to be picked up by the host family (one parent is required) in the Field House. You will be asked to provide breakfast for them and pack a sack lunch with a drink for Thursday through Sunday (March 5 - 8) and two dinners (March 4 and 6). They will be leaving from Sacred Heart on Sunday, March 8 in the morning.
