Fr. Solanus Casey Beatification Mass
All eyes will be on Ford Field on Saturday, November 18 when Capuchin Father Solanus Casey will be Beatified. Venerable Solanus Casey, an American-born Capuchin priest, was known for his ability as a spiritual counselor and was highly sought-after throughout his life, in part because of the many physical healings attributed to his blessings and intercessions. He is co-founder of the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.

The Beatification Mass is on Saturday, November 18 at 4:00 p.m. Doors open at 2:00 p.m. at Ford Field. The Archdiocese of Detroit has made tickets available to schools and parishes. We are fortunate to have a section of seats where we can all sit together.

We would like to invite you to attend this celebration as a family. You would be welcome to travel downtown by bus (departing ASH at 2:00 p.m. and returning at approximately 7:00 p.m.) or you may drive yourself. For the most current parking and event details, please visit the official website, beatification.visitdetroit.com.

Please complete this form by Friday, November 10 to receive tickets. Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. For more information or if you have questions, please contact Judy Hehs in the US Office.
