The Chapel at Academy of the Sacred Heart provides a distinctive and unforgettable backdrop for your wedding. Our chapel is a hidden gem in Metro Detroit, a unique sanctuary that seamlessly blends traditional elegance with picturesque gardens and grounds. Nestled on 28 acres of woodlands, yet conveniently located just moments from Woodward Avenue in Bloomfield Hills, our air-conditioned chapel comfortably accommodates 250 guests in vintage oak pews. The chapel's charm is evident in its exquisite features, from the stunning rose window and stained glass to the Italian marble floors and communion rail.
The Chapel at Academy of the Sacred Heart adheres to the Roman Catholic traditions and complies with the guidelines established by the Archdiocese of Detroit. Consequently, it is exclusively reserved for Roman Catholic wedding ceremonies where at least one member of the engaged couple is a baptized Roman Catholic. Both individuals must be in a position to marry within the Catholic Church before a chapel date can be confirmed.
The rental fee for the Chapel at Academy of the Sacred Heart is $2000, which includes a three-hour booking of the chapel, parlor, and surrounding grounds, as well as an onsite wedding coordinator who will be at your service for both the rehearsal and the wedding ceremony.
