Painted by Sister Pauline Perdrau, and originally covered and hidden for being too bright and bold, the depiction of Mary in our sister school in Rome was uncovered by Pope Pius IX. Upon first glance, he exclaimed, “Mater Admirabilis!” (Mother Most Admirable), and the image has been beloved by generations of our Sacred Heart family since. Join us for this special day.

We invite all members of the Academy of the Sacred Heart community to gather in the Auditorium for the State of the School. Hear aout our progress, the Head of School transition, and the future.

This is the night-out of the year for Sacred Heart! A wonderful evening of community in a gorgeous setting as we celebrate (and raise money for) our one-of-a-kind mission.

It's time to gather as one Sacred Heart community to live the mission. There will be opportunities both locally and throughout Metro Detroit for all ages.

We will gather to pray and celebrate 175 years of Sacred Heart education in Michigan at the foot of our original location on Jefferson Avenue in Detroit. Amen!
