Local Students Invited to 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament

Local students in Grades 3-6 are invited to participate in a 3-on-3 basketball tournament taking place on Friday, October 10 at ASH. Teams of 3 or 4 players in third and fourth grade will compete from 6-7:30 p.m., and players in fifth and sixth grade will compete from 7:30-9 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Fathers & Feathers Event to Benefit Faculty/Staff Retirement Fund

ASH Hires Jill Rafferty as Director of Advancement

On Sunday, September 7 at 10 a.m., the athletic booster club will sponsor the Heart of Oak V Vicki Oakley Memorial 5K Run, 5K Family Fun Walk and Kids Run. During the Annual Spring Reunion Liturgy, Barbara Brown Lopiccolo'62 received the 2014 Wansboro Award. Lopiccolo has served ASH for the past 29 years, and has been the Admissions Director since 1988. 2014 Valedictorian, Salutatorian Named

The Academy of the Sacred Heart is proud to recognize Rosemary O'Brien as the valedictorian of the Class of 2014, and Kalen Cobb as the salutatorian. The valedictory address will be given during the commencement exercises on June 12, with the salutatorian's address presented at Prize Day that morning. ASH to Offer Hard Disk Drive Shredding & Electronics Recycling on May 31

ASH will host a hard disk drive shredding and electronics recycling event on Saturday, May 31 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the school’s Field House parking lot. Local residents, professionals and businesses are invited to responsibly dispose of unwanted hard drives and electronics. For a nominal fee of $10, hard drives will be shredded using a service that exceeds all data destruction mandates. Click here for details or register here.
MSG, US Students Perform with Madrigal Chorale on April 27

Families Invited to Playtime at the Heart on March 30

ASH invites families to an activity-packed event for young children, taking place on Sunday, March 30 from 10-11:30 a.m. Playtime at the Heart is open to children from infancy through Kindergarten, and offers an Easter egg hunt, music, movement and spring treats. Please note that Hearts, Beats and Eats, previously scheduled for March 30, has been canceled.
Due to adverse weather conditions, no classes or activities will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2014.

Welcome to the Young Americans, who have brought their International Music Outreach Program to Sacred Heart. Students in Grades 5-12 will be taking part in their 3-day workshop program of music, dance, comedy, improv and fun. The final concerts take place Saturday, March 8 at 3:30 and 7 p.m. Doors open 30 minutes in advance for ticket sales ($10 for adults, $8 for students).

Summer at Sacred Heart is now enrolling for day camps, extended care and tutoring programs, which take place from June 10-August 15. The day camps, for children ages 2 1/2 through Grade 8, have a science and nature focus, with the specific theme varying by week. MSG to Hold Hands-on Science Day on February 28

On Friday, February 28, the Middle School for Girls will welcome guests to its second annual Science Day from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event will feature numerous hands-on student activities, including a special guest visit from The Little Creatures Company of Royal Oak, activities with Science with the Engineers, Inc. and a presentation by Dr. James Shaya, a local pediatrician. Students will also present their science fair projects to the community.
