Extended Day Positions

The Academy of the Sacred Heart is seeking individuals to staff the school's Extended Day program, which runs from 2:30-6 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and 12:30-6 p.m. on Wednesdays. The successful applicant should have experience and education in working with children, and must complete an Archdiocese of Detroit course called "Protecting God's Children" within one month of hire. Upper School Mathematics Instructor

The Academy of the Sacred Heart is seeking a certified math teacher for its all-girls Upper School. A full-time Upper School mathematics instructor is needed to teach courses ranging from Algebra ll/Trigonometry to Geometry to Probability/Statistics. 

The successful candidate must complete the archdiocesan-mandated program “Protecting God’s Children” within one month of being hired.

Early Childhood Program Lead Afternoon Teachers

The Academy of the Sacred Heart has two part-time (75%) openings for lead afternoon teachers in its year-round infant (six weeks to 1 year) and toddler (12-24 months) programs. 

The successful candidate must be a certified teacher with a ZA endorsement, and must take the archdiocesan-mandated Protecting God’s Children class within one month of being hired.
