Greetings Alumnae!

Spring is here and our annual spring events are quickly approaching. This year we honor the 50 year graduates, the Class of 1960, and our ten year graduates, the Class of 2000.

Our annual cocktail party is Saturday evening, May 22. We will be honoring Sandra and Alan Eidelman for their years of service to the Academy on the occasion of their retirement. This event is always a lot of fun and remains complimentary as in years past. Barbara Lopiccolo^’62 will be offering campus tours showcasing our newest additions: the Historical Wall and Donor Wall.

The Reunion Luncheon and Liturgy is scheduled for May 23. Katy Hudson Cannaday^’85 chairs the Wansboro Award Committee and will present this year’s honoree with his or her award following the liturgy. Sister Bridget Bearss will inform us regarding activities and future plans at the Academy as well as updates on our favorite retired RSCJs. The luncheon is $35 with proceeds of the event supplementing the Oldani Scholarship Fund.

Our Alumnae Association recently sent $5 Starbucks gift cards to our 2008 and 2009 graduates. It has been a pleasure getting updates from our newest alumnae and alumni. We hope to see you in person at the Reunion Weekend events.

The AMASC World Congress is April 5 – 10, 2010. Barbara Brown Lopiccolo^'62 is attending, and those of us not attending are able to follow the Congress through the Young AMASC weblog at yamascgoaesmalta.wordpress.com or www.amasc-sacrecoeur.org.
