Project Term

Since 1974, Project Term has been an integral part of the total curriculum in the Upper School.  This unique program provides an opportunity for students to explore and learn in a focused unit of study.  Incorporating the Goals and Criteria of a Sacred Heart education, all Upper School students at the Academy participate in Project Term.  Participants gain exposure to and increase awareness of various communities and cultures as well as hands-on learning in a variety of fields. Recent projects included trips to the Amazon, Dominican Republic and Washington, D.C.

Experiences for the 2009-2010 school year include:

Amazon Adventure
Biking through History, Williamsburg, VA

Dolphins/Everglades, Florida

Grace Centers of Hope, Michigan
Grand Classroom, Arizona
