Scholarships
Duchesne Merit Scholars – The Upper School offers two merit scholarships of $2,000 each to incoming 9th grade students in honor of St. Philippine Duchesne, the first Religious of the Sacred Heart to come to America to provide the young women of the New World with a Sacred Heart education. Semi-finalists are chosen from students taking the Archdiocesan High School Placement test in November.
Janet Erskine Stuart Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievements, including grades and test scores, as well as strong teacher recommendations. The $1,000 awards, which are applied toward the cost of tuition, are given to students joining the Sacred Heart community for middle school. The awards are named for the first English Superior General of the Society of the Sacred Heart, a recognized authority in the field of education and an author of books dealing with curriculum.
McGregor Scholarships provide tuition assistance of 80 percent or more for academically qualified students in the Middle School for Girls, Kensington Hall and the Upper School. Applicants follow established Academy admissions and tuition assistance procedures.
